From Rockland County, New York, and northern New Jersey:
I87/I287 east to the Tappan Zee Bridge. Exit immediately
after Tappan Zee Bridge toll. Turn right at end
of exit ramp onto Route 9 north. Travel Route 9 through villages of
Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, about 2.6 miles. The Old Dutch Church and
its burying ground are on the right side of the highway, across the
street from Philipsburg Manor restoration in Sleepy Hollow. Parking
is available inside Sleepy Hollow Cemetery's south gate.
From southern
Westchester County, New York, and Fairfield
County, Connecticut:
I287 west to last exit before the Tappan Zee
Bridge (first exit after I87 and I287 merge,
this is exit 9 in I87 numbering). Turn left at the traffic light at
the end of exit ramp onto Route 119 west. At the traffic light at the
end of Route 119 (about 0.25 mile), turn right onto Route 9 north.
Travel Route 9 through villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, about
2.5 miles. The Old Dutch Church and its burying ground are on the right
side of the highway, across the street from
Philipsburg Manor restoration in Sleepy Hollow. Parking is available
inside Sleepy Hollow Cemetery's south gate.
From northern Westchester
County:
Route 9 south through Croton, Ossining,
and Briarcliff Manor. The Old Dutch Church and its burying ground
are on the left side of the highway, about
a mile south of Phelps Memorial Hospital. Turn left at the traffic
light into Sleepy Hollow Cemetery's south gate.
From Manhattan:
Henry Hudson Parkway north to Saw Mill River
Parkway north. Exit to Route 119 west at Elmsford. At traffic
light at end of Route 119, turn right onto
Route 9 north. Travel Route 9 through villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy
Hollow, about 2.5 miles. The Old Dutch Church and its burying ground
are on the right side of the highway, across the street from Philipsburg
Manor restoration in Sleepy Hollow. Parking is available inside Sleepy
Hollow Cemetery's south gate.
From Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx:
I-87 north (Major Deegan Expressway) to I-287 west (toward
Tappan Zee Bridge). After merge with I-287, take Exit 9, Tarrytown.
At traffic light at end of ramp turn left onto Route 119 west. At
the traffic light at the end of Route 119 (about 0.25 mile), turn
right onto Route 9 north. Travel Route 9 through villages of Tarrytown
and Sleepy Hollow, about 2.5 miles. The Old Dutch Church its and

By Rail
From Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan, take Metro-North
Railroad's Hudson line to either the Tarrytown or Philipse Manor stations.
Taxi service is readily available at Tarrytown. From
Philipse Manor, the Old Dutch Church its and burying
ground are about a half mile walk.
