Though bounded on all sides by Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, neither the Old Dutch Church nor its burying ground are affiliated with the cemetery. Washington Irving himself is buried at the south end of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery overlooking the grounds of the Old Dutch Church. Please be aware that the parking area adjacent to the church belongs to the cemetery, not the church, and that they close and lock their gates promptly at 4:30 p.m.
